About Us

Ministry Statement

PrayerCare exists to encourage and equip individuals in the establishment and development of an ongoing, deeply personal relationship with God that is increasingly intense, intimate and interactive.

Ministry Verse

"My heart has heard You say, 'Come and talk with Me.' And my heart responds, 'Lord, I am coming.'"  (Psalm 27:8, NLT)

Ministry Structure

The ministry of PrayerCare is comprised of three boards (Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Intercessory Board) and Ministry Staff (all volunteer).  The function of each board is specific and unique - providing balance, counsel, and internal checks and balances. The board members and ministry staff bring a variety of expertise to the ministry.  Currently that includes: pastors, ordained ministers, homemakers, hospital chaplains, licensed counselors, judges, attorneys, certified mediators, college professors, businessmen, nationally known speakers, and much more...

Ministry Goals

  • To glorify Him: "...whatever you go, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Cor 10:31

  • To know Him: "I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord."  Phil 3:8

  • To please Him: "...we make it our goal to please Him."  2 Cor 5:9

  • To demonstrate God's love always: "The goal of this command is love." 1 Tim 1:5

Ministry Focus

PrayerCare teaches Biblical principles that lead to greater intimacy with God through interaction with Him.

As in any relationship, the more time you spend with someone, the better you will get to know them and the deper and more intimate the relationship will be.

So it is with God.  The more time you spend with Him, exchanging thoughts and ideas and discussing the business that is relative to both of you, the greater the intimacy that will be developed.

It takes time...and attention....like any love life.

And Christianity is a love life...it's you, communing with the lover of your soul....getting to know Him better day by day...enjoying the pleasure of each other's company.
